WEYMOUTH RESERVES 5, PORTSMOUTH RN 1
TERRAS Reserves' assistant boss Kevin Squibb will be a happy man when he hands control back to number one Dave Kitely on his return from a cricketing tour of South Africa this week.
"That's three wins and a draw since Dave's been away and I'm well satisfied with that," said Squibb after his youngsters controlled their home game against a fit and physical navy side and stretched their unbeaten run to 15 games.
Martin Underhay's cross was deflected in by a visiting defender for the first goal and Danny Bews took advantage of a one-on-one to tuck home the second before the break.
Underhay turned in John Lamb's cross before the sailors pulled one back and then two more one-on-ones were expertly put away by Mark Nicholson and Bews saw the Terras run out convincing winners.
