The Producers (Evershot Village Hall): Apologies for billing this last Saturday - tonight's the night for catching on of the UK's hottest blues acts.
Act 29 (The Kiva, King Street, Weymouth): A dbut here for this young hip-hop band.
Crooked Furrow (Hope & Anchor, Bridport): Acoustically-orientated offerings at Val's.
Split Pea (Royal Oak, Dorchester Road, Weymouth): Hendrix obscurities to alt. rock from this excellent trio.
Mojo (Red Lion, The Square, Beaminster): Another apology - I got this new blues band's details wrong while writing about their first gig. Tony from Goldrush (guitar, vocals) is joined by PA Pete Cole on bass and Dave Haskins on drums.
Flatliners Blues Band (Excise House, Weymouth): We've still got the blues, vintage and self-penned (including one about the Excise House) from the men in hats.
Balance of Power (Finn M'CouI's, Weymouth): This is guv'nor Steve and Barbara's new band, featuring melodic rock covers from the likes of Bon Jovi, Aerosmith and Faith No More.
Freak Circus (George Inn, Custom House Quay, Weymouth): Frenetic power pop punk and surf guitar from Wolfman, Lobster Boy, Aquaphibio and Moonface.
Version 2:0 (The Anchor, Weymouth).
The Untrustables (Wellington Arms, Weymouth): Pop and rock covers with jazzy adornments from Chris and Kim.
Ken Watkins (Fox & Hounds, Cattistock): Turloch Carolan to Richard Thompson to Eddie Cochran from Kenny.
Steve Dubya (Martyr's Inn, Main Road, Tolpuddle): Stevie, aka the Human Jukebox, entertains in this cozy boozer with stacks of history permeating the walls.
Bill Solo (George Inn, Refome, Portland).
Lawrence (Spice Ship, Preston, Weymouth): Lawrence gives you the Bowie show, aided by Mark on guitar, doing the Mick Ronson bits.
Triple Rock (Anchor Inn, Seatown, Chideock, near Bridport): Blues and r&b from this Bridport band.
Ann and Norman (Bridge Inn, Bridge Inn Lane, Preston, Weymouth): Decades of covers from the Stagles, from the fifties to the noughties.
Gigolo (RAOB Club, Weymouth): Pop covers from Weymouth's family band.
