RISING star Matthew Smith, from Charlton Down, Dorchester is aiming for the big time after being bitten by the acting bug.
Dorchester Middle School pupil Matthew, 12, is saving hard to go on a week's drama course after being spotted by the producer of Weymouth's pantomime John Spiller. He has managed to raise about half of the £280 fee for the course in Ireland.
