SWANAGE Ladies Hockey team are again the proud holders of the Ladies Hockey Lytchett Sevens cup and title.
A total of 13 teams, including three from Swanage, took part in the competition over the bank holiday weekend.
The Swanage first team regained the cup by beating last year's winners Beaminster. The second team reached the semi-finals of the plate and were unfortunate to lose 2-1, while the third team, The Unknowns, were knocked out in the quarter-finals.
After losing to Beaminster in last year's final, Swanage's first team was determined to win back the cup that they have won twice in the last five years.

By the quarter-final they were unstoppable. Rachel Percy's speed on the right flank outpaced all opposition and the goals just kept flowing - producing a personal total of 15 for the tournament.
Swanage dismissed Beaminster B in the quarter-final 3-1 and swiftly disposed of Burgess Hill in the semi-final.
In the final it was a clash of the titans with Beaminster and Swanage facing each other in the final for the third year running. After a tough battle, the score at the end of normal time stood at 3-3.
Penalties were then taken and Swanage goalkeeper Abbie Clare saved all but one. Jackie Barker then kept Swanage hopes alive by scoring their only penalty.
Once into the golden penalty goal shoot-out Lynnette Thompson rose to the challenge to net and so achieve Swanage's third win in six years.
