SOPHIA Anderson swept up in style in a burgundy stretch limo with six of her pals.
She wore a long fitted gold gown, gold tiara, long black gloves and black stole.
Other students - dressed to the nines - arrived in an ambulance, on scooters, a boat and a Ferrari.
Year 11 at Queen Elizabeth's, Wimborne, had all worked hard to decorate the old place ready for their Prom - the most glittering occasion of their school careers.
Awards were given for the best arrival, the best couple, the best dressed and the best dancer while a king and queen of the occasion were crowned.
"I love the idea - it got all our year together for the last time," said Sophia, 16.
"It brought us together as friends.
"In a sense it was sad but we got to see each other and it was a really good laugh. It's a nice way to say goodbye."
Deputy head Sally Wilson said: "It was a fantastic evening.
"Year 11 proms are always brilliant and this one was no exception.
"Congratulations to the boys on scooters who got a tremendous round of applause."
