HISTORY was brought to life through a festival of costumes and music.
This walk down memory lane was held to help the future of the Coda Music Centre in Walkford.
The Coda 3D Festival was held at New Milton over the weekend to raise funds for the centre's re-development plans.
Trustees of the centre are busy trying to raise in the region of £1 million for the centre's expansion and music therapy unit.
Kicking off the festival was a special exhibition of costumes from the past, provided by New Milton-based Eclectia Costumes.
The company, which provides costumes for theatre, exhibited and paraded costumes from medieval times through to the 1920s at Milton Parish Hall.
Later in the day a pre-concert supper was held at the hall followed by a concert, Music Through the Ages, in St Mary Magdalene Church itself.
The festival was organised by The Friends of Coda which is busy arranging fundraising events to be held throughout the local community.
Coda trustee, James Murray, said: "This is just part of our on-going fundraising for Coda.
"We have just got planning permission to redevelop our farm buildings and we need to raise in the region of a million pounds.
"We are trying to raise the cash through a series of fundraising events in the local community and by securing major grants from organisations like the Arts Council and the lottery and sponsorship from businesses."
