A PRIMARY school is celebrating a good Ofsted report, following a school inspection.
Inspectors praised St Nicholas and St Lawrence CE primary school in Broadwey for its teaching, especially in reception classes, and for its good links with parents. The report also found that the school took care of its pupils, who were well behaved and had a positive attitude towards personal and social development.
Headteacher Maureen Jaques said: "We are delighted. It shows just how hard the whole staff has worked. The report said that there was a real team feeling in the school.
"I am very proud of everybody."
Overall, the school was judged to be an effective and improving school and under good leadership and management, with a variety of strengths including design and technology, good support for special educational needs and a good local reputation.
