REJECTED and lonely, this fluffy bunny is in desperate need of a home where he can receive the attention he deserves.
The stuffed rabbit - nicknamed Arthur - was originally put up as a prize in an in-store competition. The winner did not want him and donated him to the Royal Bournemouth and Christchurch Hospitals Trust.
The trust then ran a fund-raising competition to guess the 5ft-tall rabbit's birthday, but again the winner did not want to take him home.
Since then, Arthur has been sharing an office with head of fund-raising Christine Simpson and her assistant.
"I would love to keep him, but we have a very small office and need the space," said Christine.
"We want him to go to a good home and we're open to offers."
Although Arthur is as tall as Christine, she says she manages to ignore him most of the time. "I'm mad enough as it is without talking to a rabbit in the corner," she joked.
Anyone who can offer Arthur a home in return for a donation to the hospitals' scanners appeal should contact Christine on 01202 704060.
