STEAM train enthusiast Allan Morris has scooped £68,054 on the National Lottery.
The 55-year-old self-employed painter and decorator captured the cash by matching five numbers and the bonus ball.
Allan, a steam train enthusiast, was relaxing at home in Puddledock Lane, Sutton Poyntz, near Weymouth, watching the National Lottery Jet Set with his mum and his neighbours when his numbers came up.
But it wasn't until his neighbours had gone home that he realised his amazing win.
He said: "We were all sat in the lounge watching the lottery show on television when I saw my numbers come up. As they weren't my set numbers that I play every week - they were a separate set of numbers I choose when there is a rollover - I couldn't be sure I had won!
"It wasn't until my neighbours had left and I checked my ticket five times against Teletext that I actually believed it."
Allan said that his father is in hospital at the moment having treatment for cancer.
He said: "The win has come at a really good time. I will be able to retire earlier now and look after my mother and father."
