AN evening of operatic snippets is on offer next Saturday when Dorchester Choral Society and The Dorset County Opera get together with soloists Julia Simpson (soprano) and William Adams (bass).
The evening will include pieces from Mozart's Magic Flute, Dido's lament from Purcell's Dido and Aneas and the habanera from Bizet's Carmen.
The concert is in St Mary's Church, Edward Road, Dorchester. Tickets, priced at £7, are available from The Music Box in High West Street, Dorchester, phone (01305) 264216, by post by calling (01305) 451079 and on the door on the night.
