WEYMOUTH Reserves celebrated their Jewson Wessex Combination League title with an end of season trip to Jersey.
The championship-winning Terras, who lost just two league games last year, were joined on the island by the club's successful under-15 squad.
Their hosts for the weekend were the Jersey FA Academy, which caters for players between the ages of 12 and 18.
Reserve boss Dave Kiteley said: "The trip was basically organised as a reward for what was a fantastic season for both teams and we had a great couple of days on the island.
"The senior side took on the Jersey Academy under-18 side, which was packed full of players who have had trials with Premiership clubs, and lost 3-0, while the under-15s went down to a very strong under-16s squad."
He added: "It was disappointing not to get a win although really the results didn't matter. What was important was to get away and celebrate our success and make new friends and contacts."
The Jersey FA Academy under-18 team will travel to play Weymouth Reserves in a pre-season friendly at the Wessex Stadium in August.
