AFC BOURNEMOUTH and the combined fans group would like to thank supporters for their response to the Target 2002 Campaign to sell 2,002 season tickets for the new season.

We have already sold more than 600 season tickets so far in the first two weeks of the campaign.

In order to build on that excellent start, Cherries are throwing open their doors with a 'Season Ticket Open Day' tomorrow at the new stadium from 10am to 3pm.

The ticket office and the Cherry Tree pub will be open for business and the club shop is having a sale.

Volunteers will also be on hand to answer questions, offer stadium tours and help fans select their seats for next season.

It is, therefore, an ideal opportunity for potential first-time buyers of season tickets to go along - please encourage family and friends who might find it useful to join us tomorrow.

As part of Target 2002, we hope to dispel some season ticket myths over the coming days.

Today's myth under the microscope is: "My season ticket isn't flexible - I want to be able to sit with or bring friends along."

In fact, all season tickets are already flexible - you can change your seat by arrangement with the ticket office for specific games or permanently for the rest of the season if you wish to sit near friends.

The ticket office will also be open on Bank Holiday Tuesday, June 4 and Saturday, June 8.
