CHARLOTTE Moore warmed up for her tilt at selection for Great Britain's World Junior Championship squad by recording the 1500m qualifying time at the BMC Nike Grand Prix in Manchester.
The 17-year-old middle distance sensation clipped almost one-and-a-half seconds off the qualifying time when she clocked four minutes, 16.53 seconds at Wythenshawe, the home of the Sale Harriers.
Moore's achievement came just a month after she put herself within two seconds of the Commonwealth Games' 800m qualifying time when she set a new personal best at another BMC event in Somerset.
However, despite her success, the BAC star is refusing to entertain the idea of Commonwealth glory in favour of concentrating on selection for the GB squad for the World Junior Championships in Jamaica.
And although Moore is likely to take part in the Commonwealth trials later this month, in a bid to guarantee her seat on the flight to Jamaica, she must win the 800m at the Under-20s AAA Championships in Bedford.
