MORE than 300 people took a trip around the world thanks to an exhibition mounted by Dorset women.
The Dorset Federation of Townswomen's Guilds hosted a summer show entitled Around the World.
The event, held at Ferndown Community Centre, saw countries represented in food, drink, produce and costume.
Guild spokeswoman Patricia Small said: "They could each choose a country to represent and the idea was to depict the country in whichever way they wanted."
She said the event had been a big success. "It was a huge amount of work. We've been months doing it," she added.
