FINE music will be ringing out at the David Hall Arts Centre in South Petherton next month.
Legendary singer-songwriter Gordon Giltrap, who wrote the theme music for ITV's Wish You Were Here and the BBC's Holiday programmes, will be performing on Friday, September 12, at 8pm.
Guitarist Gordon, who has been in the music business for 25 years, has also worked with Sir Cliff Richard on his musical Heathcliff and his appearance at South Petherton promises to be an evening of top entertainment.
Tickets for the show are £10, with concessions available.
The following Wednesday, September 17, girl group The Poozies will take to the stage with their distinctive sound that melds traditional and contemporary tunes.
The line-up of Karen Tweed, Patsy Seddon, Mary Macmaster and Eilidh Shaw will be thrilling the venue with their Celtic-themed singing accompanied by electroharp and accordion.
The concert starts at 8pm and tickets are £10 plus concessions.
Finally, the centre welcomes back Ron Kavana and Thomas Lynch on Friday, September 26, at 8pm.
The duo are highly popular and successful folk musicians and the talented twosome have played with some of the top names on the scene.
