IF you feel the IT revolution may be passing you by, a new education centre in Swanage could be just the thing for you.
On-Line@Swanage follows on from the success of On-Line@Wareham, offering computer taster courses for beginners and access to online courses teaching basic skills through to professional qualifications.
There are free classes to help you take your first steps onto the worldwide web and get to grips with email.
Sue Johnson, basic skills tutor, said: "From the demand they have had at Wareham they have established there is a need in Swanage and we hope to pick up really quickly."
On-Line@Swanage is part of Dorset Community Action, bringing opportunities to rural areas. It offers access to government-backed Learndirect courses - computer-based tutorials which allow you to learn at your own pace - and there are hundreds to choose from.
The centre opens Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 9am to 4.30pm at 15c Commercial Road, Swanage, telephone 01929 422094, email onlineswanage@hotmail.com
