A MAP featuring every one of the 5,600 footpaths to be re-opened in time for the weekend is now available on the Dorset County Council website.
The large-scale map allows people to zero in on the area they want to walk and to check which paths are open and which remain closed.
Re-opened paths are signed with green "Path Now Open" signs while the 900 closed in agreement with the National Farmers' Union are in red.
Terry Sweeney, countryside manager at DCC, said: "We are now getting a large number of calls from the public asking what the latest is on Dorset's paths. We are telling them that most are open with precautions still in place but that some paths must remain closed for the time being."
