PARKSTONE YACHT CLUB'S Cruiser Regatta over the weekend brought to an end their 56th Poole Week.
Throughout the week light winds prevailed but this did not deter the massive dinghy entry of 243 boats of all shapes and sizes.
Parkstone's Enterprise experts, Richard Havill and daughter Kate, dominated their 28-strong fleet again from the start with six points from five races, as did John and Anita Herbert in the Albacores.
Poole Yacht Club's Steve Davis, Sailing with yet another Havill offspring, Victoria, won five of his six races in the 420s, as did Colin Lord in the Shrimpers.
In the Dolphin fleet, Barry, Pat and Derek Harris dominated with a six point tally whilst in the Dart and Laser 4.7s, Peter Stacey, with Julia Sanders, and Anthony Osman, achieved seven point totals respectively.
Over the weekend it was Poole's Terry Dinmore in his Hunter Impala Puck who achieved the best score - six from six races - to win Class Two.
Class One saw four different race winners but it was the home club's Nick Fullager, in the X99 Fixation, who came out ahead overall.
In class Three Quartet, the David Thomas designed Quarto owned by James Blackburn, won with nine points total.

Greg Carey, aged 15, from The Royal Lymington YC won the prestigious title of Volvo Musto Senior Optimist National Champion.
"I am really pleased to be the National Champion," he said. "I came to this championship hoping to win, as it is my last regatta in the Optimist. I have been really pleased with my sailing all week, but the competition has been really hard
The competition in the 112-strong junior fleet has been extremely high, too, with a lot of new faces at the top, Charlie Makepeace (12, Bowmoor) and Matthew Rainback (12, Poole YC) battled it out all week.
But it was Charlie whose consistent sailing paid off to see him crowned the Volvo Musto Optimist Junior National Champion with 33 points.
Matthew, after scoring two thirds in Friday's races, finished in second place with 56 points, he now looks forward to starting at Poole Grammar School next week.
Matthew now has a National ranking of 12th in Great Britain for sailors aged 15 and under, which considering he's only 12 is remarkable.
John Lefley, Director of Press and Events at Volvo Car UK said: "Another excellent week of Youth Sailing. Apart from the healthy lifestyle, which is so important for any children, the enthusiasm and the skills they demonstrate at such an early age are to be."
Weymouth and Portland Sailing Academy played host to the Volvo Musto Optimist National Championships and a record breaking 302 sailors competed in the regatta including a number of entries from India, Holland, Germany, France, Zimbabwe and Ireland.
The Optimist is the most popular dinghy class and the majority of the world's best sailors learnt to sail in it. Ninety per cent of the sailors who competed at the Sydney Olympic Games learnt to sail in an Optimist.
Ben Ainslie, who won silver at the 1996 and Gold at the 2000 Olympic Games in the Laser Class, won the Optimist National Championships in 1992.
Twenty two R19s competed at Poole Yacht Club on Saturday in predominantly light and fluky conditions.
The race team did an excellent job in getting four of the scheduled five races out.
Dave Hale in Rant 'n' Rave showed the way round in race one winning comfortably.
Rapid Reflex, owned by Peter Frith, but on this occasion sailed by Alan Laing, Mark Taylor and Andy Fox, worked through to second.
In race two Laing led from the start but slipped to third on the second beat before recovering to win closely over Rythm & Blues (Colin Rainback/Trevor Allen/Chris Habgood).
A big port lift left the leaders at the back of the pack at the start of race three.
Then a titanic battle developed between Hale and Rainback, benefiting Laing who worked up to third place with Steve Davis in Reggae Mon winning.
Laing, Rainback & Davis all met at the first windward mark in race four, but it was the Rapid Reflex team that came out ahead and were never seriously threatened thereafter.
As usual in the R19 fleet, close racing was enjoyed by everyone and the day was rounded off with an excellent BBQ.
Overall: 1 Rapid Reflex (Laing/Taylor/Fox) 2 Rant 'n' Rave (Hale/Courage/Thornally) 3 Reggae Mon (Davis/Peach/Millard)
Flat water, brilliant sunshine and a temperature of 28 degrees provided ideal conditions for the young sailors competing in the Southern Region Final of the Honda RYA Youth RIB Championships which took place at Parkstone Yacht Club recently.
Competitors came from across the RYA Southern Region, from Chichester to Poole and the Isle of Wight and they had all graduated from heats held at their home clubs.
For the Southern Region finals, a timed test was used which included a slalom around laid buoys, followed by a man overboard exercise and reversing 360 degrees round a mark.
Tim Morris, 15, from Parkstone Yacht Club, took the 13-16 age group with the fastest time seen in the competition so far this year.
The winners now go on to meet regional champions from across the country when the Honda RYA Youth RIB National Championships are held at the Southampton International Boat Show on September 13.
