THE curtain is coming down on the summer season at Weymouth Pavilion, with local singers and two of the country's most popular comedians taking to the stage for the final time.

Tomorrow sees Weymouth's premier tribute band Here and Now perform for the final time this summer, starting at 7.30pm.

The five talented singers will take their audience on a tour of some of the greatest pop hits of the past years and showcase hits by the like of The Bee Gees, Liberty X, Blue, Britney Spears and Steps.

This is a superb family show. Tickets are £7.50 plus family rates.

On Sunday, helium-voiced funnyman Joe Pasquale is on stage for the final time this season, starting at 7.30pm.

Finally, next Monday and Tuesday at 8pm, comedian and TV star Jim Davidson is on stage expounding his irreverent and somewhat blue-tinted views.

Tickets for the ever-popular star are £16.

As well as the summer season, the Pavilion is staging two top musical events over the coming days.

On Saturday at 7.30pm Pete Tobit and Ed Stacey return to the resort as the Blues Brothers in Sweet Home Chicago, a fast-paced show in which audience participation is a must. Tickets are £12.
