GOAL machine Karim Banssouada signed off in style as Poole Town continued their explosive start to the Hampshire League Premier Division season with a 4-0 victory over Amesbury Town.
Banssouada starts a four-month suspension today following a series of red cards for Poole and Sunday side Strouden Park last term.
But the 20-year-old ensured the Tatnam Farm faithful would not forget him in a hurry as he took his Dolphins tally to an astonishing 42 goals in 36 games with a first-half double that helped Poole maintain their 100-per-cent record.
Poole took the lead after just five minutes when the visitors' keeper misjudged Carl Woodward's free-kick and the former Poppies man claimed his first goal of the campaign.
Ten minutes later and Woodward turned provider as he beat a defender wide on the left before crossing for Lee Manning to open his Dolphins account with a header.
But as is usually the case at the moment, Banssouada's name was added to the scoresheet before the break when Andy Gater crossed and the ace marksman headed home at the far post. Banssouada completed the rout on 63 unleashing a fierce left foot shot past the keeper from a tight angle.
Poole: Potter, Kemp, Woodward, Gater, Wood, L. Manning (Burt), P. Manning, Reeks (Muir), White, Cornick, Banssaouda (Miles).
Ringwood picked up their first win of the season thrashing Portsmouth RN 5-1 while Lymington Town were on the receiving end of a 6-3 thriller at Horndean. In Division One, Verwood beat struggling Overton Utd 2-1.
