SUPERSTAR skaters will be rocking and rolling at the Dorchester Show next weekend.
The world's top team of skateboarders, BMX riders and in-line skaters will be ducking and diving outside the Community Spirit tent, near the entrance to Dorset's biggest agricultural extravaganza.
The Team Extreme display will be put on by twice world BMX ramp champion Mike Mullen, three times European skateboard champ, team manager Neil Danns and the current UK champion Doug Peel-Yates.
Team Extreme scooped first, second, third and fourth places at the National Adventure Sports Weekend.
The daredevils will showcase their tricks and talents four times a day if the weather is fine.
Some lucky fans may also be invited to use the ramp under supervision of a team coach in between shows.
Team Extreme members will be available to give autographs, pose for pictures and give advice to young skaters and bikers in the Community Spirit tent.
The event is part of Dorchester Rotary Club's initiative to provide a facility for local community groups to display their activities.
NM Promotions, which recently clinched the contract to build Dorchester's new skatepark, manages Team Extreme. Chief executive Peter Noble said: "We are based in Dorchester and these guys work full-time for the company.
"As they are jetting across the globe to take part in competitions all the time we can only choose to do one local charity event each year, and this is it.
"Don't miss it."
