FEARS for missing schoolgirl Asata Budd remain after her family's attempts to find her in Essex failed.
It is a week since the 13-year-old from Bournemouth disappeared whilst staying with family in Essex and the Metropolitan Police are continuing with efforts to find her.
A team of six of Asata's family and friends were out in the rain until late Friday night handing out flyers and appealing for information about her whereabouts.
Her auntie Leoni Finnegan said: "We were out there until late at night but no-one saw anything. It started to rain and there were very few people about for us to speak to. I just hope she's alright."
Anyone with information is asked to contact Barkingside Missing Persons Unit on 0208 3453538.
