DORSET'S Shaun Webster moved up three places in the order of merit standings after finishing joint 26th in the Omega European Masters at Crans-sur-Sieere, Switzerland on Sunday.
Webster, who needs to finish in the top 115 in the rankings to keep his Tour Card, has risen to 110th place thanks to a usfeul cheque for around £9,000.
The Dorset Golf and Country Club star finished on three-under-par following a four-round total of 281 (69, 72, 70, 70) and his consistent form has helped him earn a-round £106,000 this season.
Broadstone's Gary Emerson is still playing catch-up after slumping to 74th following a final-round 79.
He closed on 10-over-par for a 294 total (70,72, 73, 79) and is currently 139th in the standings with earnings of around £72,000 - approximately £26,000 behind the player in the last qualifying spot.
Ernie Els rode his luck before cruising to a sixth win of the year. Els carded a final round 65 for a 17 under total of 267 to claim the £185,000 first prize and increase his lead at the top of the Order of Merit.
The world number two finished six shots ahead of Michael Campbell.
