SINGAPORE is best, with Stansted coming a close second. Dedicated fans even lovingly refer to them as Camp Singapore and Camp Stansted.
When it comes to sleeping in airports, these two have been voted top of the terminals.
That is according to a website dedicated to the art of aerodrome slumber.
Not just aimed at those with restricted wallets, there's a dedicated band of travellers who voluntarily choose to bed down amid plastic moulded seating.
But even if you aren't on a budget, or don't fancy a 4am airport adventure, you never know when you're going to suddenly be faced with the unparalleled chore of an 18-hour stopover.
And that's when you'll discover, far too late, that not all airports are created equal.
So before you leave home, please do your research and go prepared.
Airports are rated on the website according to the friendliness of their security staff, the proliferation of arm rests, and the availability of food and alcoholic beverages available on site.
The state of the floors are taken into consideration - carpet or tiles - as well as the general cleanliness of the terminal including the important matter of the showers.
Some, like Camp Singapore, have it all.
In addition to the oh-so-comfy seating where you can stretch out and take a restful trip to the land of nod, you can charge your mobile free of charge or take a dip in the airport pool.
There's even a spa, plus alarm clocks built into the seating.
It's no wonder that for the past eight years Singapore has been voted the best airport in the world to grab forty winks.
But you don't need to jet to the Far East to enjoy a terminal sleepover.
Camp Stansted regularly has more than 500 overnight guests.
Regular Camp 'Stansteders' compare the atmosphere among fellow snoozers to the camaraderie felt in the underground Blitz shelters of the Second World War.
Everyone talks to everyone else, your luggage is watched while you pop to the loo, and a sing song isn't unheard of.
But woe and behold if you get stuck at Boston in the USA, Cairo in Egypt, or Denpasar, Indonesia.
According to the website, you'd be better off sleeping under a tree somewhere than trying to bed down in these terminals.
It's not just that they are devoid of comfy seating or suitable floor space, but there's the utter lack of sympathy and people skills among security staff.
At most airports security guards will question you on why you are there and ask to see your ticket.
Once they've established you aren't a tramp they'll tip toe past you.
But spare a thought for Franck, a guard at Schipol airport in Amsterdam.
Not only did he give a pillow and blanket to one overnighter but came back at 4am to wake her, brandishing coffee and a sandwich, so that she wouldn't miss her check in time.
Now that's what I call service.
Just as good as any hotel.
