HOTTEST ticket around at the moment is The Scissor Sisters' forthcoming gig at the Bournemouth International Centre.
Fans have been snapping up seats for their gig on October 15 like there's no tomorrow, and even with a maximum of just four tickets allowed per person, a sell-out seems certain.
The New York fivesome have been enjoying huge success since they made their UK debut just six months ago.
Their album has gone platinum and they've been a big attraction at most of the high-profile festivals this summer including Homelands, Glastonbury and T in the Park.
The band, who are still virtually unknown in the USA, are famed for their outrageous stage clothes. Touring Europe earlier this summer they were described by a Danish transvestite as looking like "a cross between Gollum and a dirty Teletubby."
This was perhaps a little bit rich coming from a fat bloke wearing a wig and a pink leotard but the band members are philosophical.
They know that the more flamboyantly they dress on stage the less chance there is of being recognised away from the performing platform.
In fact band member Ana Matronic says they rarely seem to get noticed when off stage.
"People just aren't expecting me to look like a normal person... they expect the drag queen make-up and the outrageous outfits and stuff," he told the BBC.
