BRIDPORT Ladies A have done it again.

By beating Somerton 8-2 in their final match, Caroline Cash, Emma Gardiner, Janie Brown and Judy Dearlove are the champions of Division One for the second year running.

It was a comfortable margin for the victorious quartet, who have played consistently throughout the season, only having to call on a reserve on two occasions.

Mixed A also had a good win last week, beating Martock A 10-0 with Alan Cash and Gardiner, Liam Thomas and Dearlove. They still have one match to play.

*THE club held a ladies' doubles tournament in glorious weather on Saturday.

Players from both the A and B teams mixed together with other club members for some competitive and enjoyable tennis.

Emma Gardiner and Katrina Love finally came out on top by just one game.
