WEYMOUTH'S Sarah Ayton is refusing to let talk of a golden treble affect her as Britain continues to dominate the sailing standings at the Olympic regatta on the Saronic Gulf.
With a fair following wind, Team GB sailors could bank three much-needed golds this Saturday.
Finn hopeful Ben Ainslie, Shirley Robertson, Sarah Webb and Ayton in the Yngling and the 470 duo of Nick Rogers and Joe Glanfield are all leading classes which conclude that day.
But the 24-year old Dorset sailor, at her first Olympics, is trying not to get too excited.
''Every time it comes into my mind I try to dismiss it straight away,'' she said. ''It's hard but we can never lose focus on the next race.''
Britain's Yngling holds a seven-point advantage over nearest rivals Denmark after finishing fourth and sixth in yesterday's races.
And Ayton is not looking outside the current top two to contest the gold medal.
"It looks like it's between us and the Danes, so we need to get some solid results because we don't want to get into a match race situation," she added.
"We've spent six months working on our downwind speed and it's really paid off at this regatta - we just need to keep it up."
