WE have seen their tantrums, arguments and successes, now four weeks into the ITV show the doors of The Block will be flung open tomorrow (August 28) to allow people the chance to get a sneak preview of the finished homes.
Viewers who have been watching the show on Tuesday nights have seen former Miss Bournemouth Marinella Lazzeri and partner Steve Fitzakerley take part in the challenge to turn a new build property into the perfect home.
They are one of four couples taking part in the reality makeover show to transform the town houses in Brighton with a budget of £25,000.
The houses will then go under the hammer and the couple with the highest bid will scoop the £50,000 prize.
So far viewers have seen Marinella and Steve create a study, bathroom and this week their bedroom with a hidden en-suite.
All the rooms have now been completed although the pod, roof terrace and kitchen have not yet been revealed on air.
But tomorrow The Block will be open to give people the chance to take a closer look at each of the completed town houses.
Marinella and Steve say they will be there to answer any questions from prospective buyers and have promised to give all local people a personal tour of their house.
Marinella said: "If you are going to come down and have a look, say hello, tell us you are local and we will make sure you have a VIP trip of your own."
Speaking of her experience on the show, she added: "Some parts of The Block were fun but it was very, very stressful.
"The good points were that it made mine and Steve's relationship a lot stronger.
"We enjoyed being in a different town and made a lot of new friends. It wasn't our neighbours but people we met when we went out.
"The bad things were dealing with bad trades people and missing my little boy Luca."
Marinella said: "I am pretty confident that we have done our best and don't think we could have done any better. I wouldn't hesitate in buying it."
Marinella and Steve have been causing quite a stir in The Block.
They have been seen arguing with the other couples and have had run-ins with builders and designers.
New Forest couple Helen Hunt, 46, and Tim Ashby, 37, are also appearing on the show.
