WALKING on water was one of the main attractions at the second day of the Echo-backed Poole Park Fest 04, with visitors trying their hand at one of the country's newest sports.
Hydrazorbs are giant globes which athletes can climb inside and move around on water by using small fins on the surface. People of all ages were queuing up to have a go at the event in Poole Park.
For the less energetic, there was a chance to experience various holistic therapies, while the younger visitors were kept amused by fairground-type rides throughout the day.
The free event, organised by the Friends of Poole Park, also featured Chinese cookery demonstrations, martial arts displays, live music and water sports.
All money raised from the two-day extravaganza will go towards Poole Park. Organisers are considering another event next year.
