ACCLAIMED director Peter Bogdanovich chronicles a supposedly true episode from 1924 in this stylish whodunnit.

On November 15, notorious media mogul William Randolph Hearst (Edward Hermann) threw a swanky party on board his private yacht Oneida, including a guest list of the rich, glamorous and famous.

Among the attendees were Hearst's mistress Marion Davies (Kirsten Dunst), Charlie Chaplin (Eddie Izzard), powerful Hollywood producer Thomas Ince (Cary Elwes) and gossip columnist Louella Parsons (Jennifer Tilly). During the party, Ince died or was possibly murdered. Could Hearst somehow have been involved in his guest's demise?
