A WEST Dorset company which helps rural businesses to prosper has done so well itself it has undergone a major expansion.

Pineapple Developments was initially set up to develop Pineapple Farm at Salway Ash into business units.

In the four years it took to plan and develop the now flourishing Pineapple Business Park the management team realised there was a market need for expertise to help farmers, landowners and businesses maximise the full potential of their rural assets.

Now Pineapple Developments offers a range of complementary services to help firms grow in todays fast changing rural economy.

f Pineapple Project Solutions V specialising in the management and delivery of rural-based construction projects.

f Pineapple Business Services - providing secretarial and administrative services to businesses who do not have or require full-time office resources.

f Pineapple Property Management V offering cost effective management of business parks, estate buildings, holiday lets and second homes

Managing director Andrew Dyke said: The challenges facing traditional rural businesses are well documented and there is a plethora of government bodies and associates available to give advice.

What we could not find was an organisation that could base these recommendations on personal experience as a result of having spent their own time and money on a successful diversification project.

Pineapple Developments aims to do exactly that. Drawing on our own experience we work closely with our clients, to help them identify and clarify business opportunities, analyse the potential and oversee, or manage, the delivery of an income generating solution.
