REVISED plans for a prestige development on the former Webbs chicken factory site at Lymington have been submitted by developers Paxton Holdings.
A previous application for the multi-million pound scheme was rejected by New Forest District Council planners in June. Paxton Holdings Limited is appealing against that refusal.
Now the company has put forward plans they say will overcome the issues raised by the council.
The council's concerns include flood protection plans and high-way safety at the site entrance next to the level crossing in Bridge Street .
The new plans include three shops to help overcome the council's concerns about lack of diversity at the development.
In addition, Paxton's new scheme shows 205 private homes, 93 affordable homes and 10 live/work units.
There is also a 100-bed hotel, a restaurant, a riverside walk with far-reaching views, underground car parking and a footbridge over the railway line to link the development with Gosport Street, and the picturesque Quay and town centre.
The developers have moved the site entrance closer to the Lymington River and further away from the level crossing which is on the busy road to the Isle of Wight ferry terminal.
They also say there is ample time to clear the underground car park of vehicles should there be a flood alert.
McCarthy and Stone (Develop-ments) Ltd has applied to build a 56 sheltered apartments and 16 affordable homes at the Olymp-ian Garage site at the Barton Court Crossroads in New Milton.
Olympian director Chris Swain said: "It's a speculative applica-tion by the owner of the building. He's testing the water. We have two years to run on our lease."
