PENSIONERS were invited to have their say when a new roadshow made its first stop at their day centre in Weymouth.

They raised their concerns, gave views on how to improve Weymouth and Portland and filled in questionnaires at the Fiveways Centre in Westham.

The Weymouth and Portland Partnership stopped off at the centre on the first day of its tour of the borough.

Thirty organisations have joined forces to form the partnership to drive up the standard of living in Weymouth. Police community support worker Trevor Skinner helped launch the roadshow at the centre to highlight the partnership's achievements so far and invite people to give their views.

The roadshow moved to Lanehouse Post Office after Fiveways and then stopped off in King Street and at Weymouth College.

Tomorrow it will be at Wyke Regis Gardens from 10am to 1pm.

On Thursday it will be in Underhill on Portland from 10am to 1pm, Easton Gardens from 2pm to 4pm and the Kimberlin Club from 6pm-8pm.

It will be at Southill shopping centre car park from 3pm to 7pm on Friday and at Littlemoor shopping precinct between 10am to 1pm.

The roadshow includes displays, face painting, details of Smoke Stop courses and the chance to win a CD mini system.
