What Would Scooby Do? (Mariner's, Maiden Street, Weymouth): Still remarkably tender of years, WWSD are establishing a firm following with their strong, confident original material. Pink Floyd tribute with Us & Them (Finn's, Westham Road, Weymouth): Floyd's legend brought to life, with a good approximation of the stage show. £2 admission, music until midnight. Trouble In Mind (Three Horseshoes, Mill Street, Burton Bradstock): TIM show off their brand-new and apparently extremely nifty guitarist from Southampton. The Sidekicks (Ropemakers, East Street, Bridport): Funk, soul and rock works, performed with gusto. The Underdogs (Hardy's, West Street, Bridport): Hendrix to The Beatles to Steppenwolf. Paisley (Black Dog, St Mary Street, Weymouth): Paisley pay fitting tribute to the masters, ie Hendrix, Cream and The Who. Seed (Hope & Anchor, St Michael's Lane, Bridport): Gailyn fronts covers from Audioslave, Puddle of Mud, Avril Lavigne, Good Charlottes to Evanescence. The Daze (Old George, Trinity Street, Dorchester): Alt rock and indie covers. Pronghorn (Royal Oak, Bere Regis): Full-on 'cow punk' from this Poole-based band that I had the pleasure of sharing a stage with last weekend.
