A GRANDMOTHER is calling for a leisure centre's unisex changing rooms to be separated after her grandson, 10, saw two people having sex in a cubicle.
Joan Self reported the incident to staff at Poole's Dolphin Swimming Pool just a month after a voyeur was caught using a mirror to spy on swimmers as they changed.
The Daily Echo reported last week that bosses caught Steven Brady, 29, after installing 10 extra CCTV cameras as they became concerned following complaints from the public.
Brady, from Rozelle Road in Parkstone, was given a three-year community rehabilitation order by Bournemouth magistrates for observing another person for the purpose of sexual gratification.
Mrs Self, from Canford Cliffs, is now demanding something be done about the situation.
She said: "I think something should be done to stop things like this.
"I think they're waiting until a child is sexually assaulted or abused before they do something and I think it's diabolical."
Cllr Don Collier, environment boss for the Borough of Poole, said: "We are very concerned to hear of this complaint which we take very seriously.
"This type of behaviour will not be tolerated and our staff act to stop any inappropriate behaviour made known to them."
Clive Smith, head of leisure services at the Borough of Poole, added: "Clearly we cannot monitor within private changing cubicles but staff do supervise communal areas in person and through CCTV cameras.
"With this particular incident the CCTV tapes were reviewed as soon as we were made aware but they did not reveal any untoward behaviour."
Mr Smith said he would be happy to discuss the incident with Mrs Self.
