CAT-loving shop assistants welcomed charity volunteers into their store to promote care for feline friends.
The West Dorset branch of Cats Protection spent a day at Matalan in the Jubilee Retail Park, Weymouth, to celebrate Cats Protection Week.
Cats Protection volunteers Len Ahern and Julie Kent set up a stall near the store's entrance.
They were looking for new supporters, providing information for cat owners and raising funds.
Matalan duty manager Colin Shorey said: "We invited them to have a stall in the store because we are all cat lovers. This is one of the charities we are pleased to support here.
"We have had a good response from customers and a number of people joined the Dorset branch through the stall."
He said some of the staff own rescue cats provided by Cats Protection.
