POLICE are looking for a teenage girl from Charminster, who went missing a day after starting Bournemouth College.
Seventeen-year-old Lyndsey Howie was last seen at 7.20am on Tuesday September 14 at a bus stop in Weymouth Avenue, Dorchester.
She was wearing a black T-shirt with a picture of Marilyn Monroe on the front, a pink mini-cord skirt and a sheepskin style suede coat.
PC Janine Vosper, a spokesman for Dorset Police, said: "Lyndsey came home from the first day of college quite happy and there was no suggestion that anything was wrong.
"She has gone missing before and I'm urging her to contact her family or the police, just to let everyone know that she is ok."
Anyone with information is urged to contact Dorset Police on 01305 222500 or Crimestoppers on 0800555111.
