PR undergraduate Melanie Barringer is bringing her marketing experience at Red Bull to the Ringwood firm.

Melanie is joining McKenna Townsend PR as part of her four-year BA (Honours) Public Relations degree.

Part of the degree is a 40-week placement which gives students the opportunity to put the theory of the first two years into practice.

She has been marketing assistant at Golden Acres for three and a half years.

CADOGAN Travel's Southbourne branch is planning escorted tours for business people wishing to trade or work in China.

Local travel manager Andy Fountain is to undertake a fact-finding mission to China next month.
