YOU will have a chance to see a West End show before it makes it to London later this autumn as part of the new season of events drawn up by Artsreach.
The theatre troupe Peepolykus - pronounced 'people like us' - will be performing their new show All in the Timing at Portesham village hall on Saturday, October 16 at 8pm. The hilarious and surreal show looks at a world where chimps can write Shakespeare, washing machines seduce men and Trotsky can relive his final day 16 times.
This is a rare opportunity to see West End theatre first and tickets are selling fast. Call 01305 871780 for bookings and full details.
High quality drama is just one part of the coming season, with music, dance, storytelling and children's treats all lined up for the coming months.
Favourites such as the Old Rope String Band and Puppetcraft's The Mousehole Cat are set to make a popular return, as is classical music from the Pavao Quartet and Cartoon de Salvo.
There is dance from Attik Dance, who will be performing a wonderfully atmospheric story about a day at the beach and a whole range of Christmas specials to appeal to all tastes and ages.
Artsreach spokeswoman Rachel Hargreaves said: "It's a high quality season, very exciting, and a resounding thumbs-up for Artsreach that we can attract such great shows to the area."
