Moore's clean sweep
LYME Regis youngster Josh Moore is the new south west champion after a clean sweep at Tiverton.
The six-year-old came first in all three heats and was the winner in the final to take the title.
His younger brother Eddie, age four but racing in the same class, also had an outstanding day, with two third placed finishes and a second ahead of the talented Tom Novis from Burnham-on-Sea.
He finished third in the final (which was his overall position) ahead of boys double his size. The brothers were presented with a trophy each and Josh also received 'SW1' plate for his bike.
They will be racing again on this Sunday in the British Championships at Broadway House, Cheddar, the final - and biggest - event in the 2004 calendar.
