BRIDPORT do battle at Salisbury tonight when they take on Bemerton Heath Harlequins in the FA Vase Second Qualifying Round replay (7.45pm).

The Bees were denied a passage into the First Round Proper by a last minute equaliser from the Wiltshire side in a 2-2 draw at St Mary's Field on Saturday.

And they now have to travel without the services of captain Gary McAuley, who was taken to hospital for stitches to a nasty head wound, sustained during the extra time period.

Defender Scott Dennis is also a major doubt for the West Dorset outfit, struggling with a troublesome knee injury.

Bees chief Bob Russell believes the re-match will be much the same as the first encounter.

He said: "Our preparation has been virtually non-existent. There have been questions in the players' minds and they must address them and prepare themselves as best they can.

"It's more of a mental thing than a physical thing because they are all pretty fit.

"They played as I expected them to, but at times we were a bit flat footed and got caught.

"I think they will play the same formation home or away. If they change their shape we will adjust accordingly.

"We will approach it in the same way and hopefully achieve the result we desire."

The Bees have added Anthony Cunningham and Dan Taylor to the squad.
