FRESH from the success of his two-night visit to the Lighthouse in Poole, Mike Maran will continue to entertain Dorset audiences with his tale of the life of composer Mahler during a one-night stay at Bridport Arts Centre next week.
Mahler: Song and Dance Man is a bittersweet look at the life of the musician, charting his professional life as well as his turbulent private life.
Often funny and sometimes deeply poignant, it carries its audiences on a rollercoaster ride that takes in everything from Mahler's music to the culture of Germany and the horror of the concentration camps.
With live music and great performances, Maran has produced another winner to follow in the steps of his last hit - a stage adaptation of Captain Corelli's Mandolin.
You can see Mahler: Song and Dance Man at the arts centre on Wednesday, October 6 at 7.30pm. Tickets are £10 plus concessions - call the box office on 01308 424204 for bookings and details.
