Police Sergeant Ashton Rietiker of Ferndown police said: "Sarah may be very emotionally upset and distressed and so it's very important that we find her and make sure she's safe and well. I hope by releasing Sarah's picture this may prompt someone seeing her to call the police."
He added: "It's important that anyone who sees Sarah, or believes they have seen her since lunchtime on Friday contacts the police straight away.
"We'd also like to hear from anyone else with any other information no matter how insignificant."
Sarah is white, 5ft 5in tall, of plump build with blonde shoulder length hair that was tied back in a ponytail. When last seen, she was wearing a brown bomber style jacket over a red top, blue jeans, beige shoes and shoes and she was carrying a black backpack
