DORSET-born Kevin Hodges has been named the new boss of Southern League Division One West side Clevedon Town.
The former Plymouth Argyle and Torquay United midfielder, who was linked with the
manager's job at Weymouth before Geoff Butler's appointment, replaces Steve Fey.
He was sacked after 11 years in charge at the Hand Stadium.
Hodges, who comes from Drimpton in West Dorset, will combine his new role at Clevedon with his job as the Football Development Officer for the Somerset FA.
But he plans to give up his post as South West scout for Wolverhampton Wanderers.
He said he had missed the day-to-day involvement of club football and the Clevedon post gave him the chance to return to it.
He takes charge of Clevedon for the first time tonight when they visit Taunton in the first round of the Somerset Premier Cup
* Terras fans are reminded that a new operator will be running the club's popular match-day bus service.
Wessex Buses have taken over the route from the town centre to the Wessex Stadium.
Club director Nigel Beckett said: "The timetable and pick up points are exactly the same but fans are advised to now look out for the smaller Wessex Buses shuttles instead of a double
decker.
"The new operator starts this coming Friday night for our game against Redbridge and the service will be the same as for a usual midweek match."
