MP for West Dorset and shadow chancellor Oliver Letwin proved his commitment to the ArtsFest when he was picked up by a helicopter at the Lyme Regis football ground on Sunday. Mr Letwin had long-ago agreed to make the first daubs in the Evolution drawing project on Sunday and when a TV company said they wanted to interview him on Sunday morning he told them he couldn't renege on his commitment to the ArtsFest. So the production company sent a helicopter to pick him up and ensure he got to London in time to be interviewed, before being whisked back to Dorset for the Tory party conference in Bournemouth.
