NOAH knew how it felt - trying to find room in his ark for dozens of pairs of animals.
Now the RSPCA at Ashley Heath has been showered with unwanted pets coming in two-by-two.
There are the pygmy goats Horny and Gino who used to be pets at a children's corner at a pub.
Described as "ark angels", they are a bit nervous and - figuratively speaking - joined at the hip, so it would cruel to split them up.
Rabbits Cotton and Flopsy are in need of a home together - not to mention pairs of guinea pigs, chipmunks and gerbils.
But there is a positive inundation of doggy and catty couples who need homing together.
There's white tabby Lucy and her black-and-white tom Kevin, sisters Tessa and Tiggy and kittens Beezer and Basher who are "a bit hissy and spitty", on account of being born outside.
And when it comes to pooches there are black and tan drag hounds Friar and Grumpy - Grumpy is sweet-natured, in spite of her name.
Then there are two sets of Maltese crosses - just a bit bigger than Yorkies - Pippa and Pepsi and Kizzy and Katie.
Sheila Rowe who runs the centre said: "They're quite small and quite cute but they have never lived in a home.
"They have never met children or traffic and they would need to be house-trained.
"Because they're so nervous, they look to each other for reassurance - it would take a very dedicated family to take them on.
"I don't know why there are so many pairs of animals at the moment - we have never had so many," Sheila added.
"It's nice that they're companions but it's harder to home them."
