Collateral (15) UCI, Odeon. Tom Cruise as a hitman hijacks a taxi driven by the unfulfilled Max (Jamie Foxx) as he sets out to execute a string of hits in one night. Great interplay between Cruise and Foxx, Michael Mann's superbly handled direction and a top drawer story make this the one to see at the moment. ****
The Company (12A) Odeon (Wed only). Robert Altman's ensemble drama about a group of ballet dancers stars Neve Campbell ad Malcolm McDowell. ***
CyberWorld 3D (U) IMAX. Entertaining novelty in which a spritely host takes us on a tour of CyberWorld, a museum of 3D exhibits including £d clips from The Simpsons and Antz. ***

Etre et Avoir (U) Lighthouse (Mon only). Charming documentary portarit of a one-rom school in rural France. ****

Inside I'm Dancing (15) Odeon. Affecting, sensitive drama about a young man with cerebral palsy whose life is enlivened by the arrival of someone new at the home he lives in. ****

Open Range (15) Dorset Moviola, Hazelbury Bryan (Sat only). Kevin Costner directs and stars with Robert Duvall in this effective western about a gunslinger trying a new life. ****
Resident Evil: Apocalypse (15) UCI. Alice wakes up in Raccoon City, a city of the dead, and must escape Nemesis, the latest creation of Umbrella. Or some such nonsense that only video game-heads can comprehend. **
Saw (18) UCI, Odeon. Two men wake up in the lair of a serial killer... with a dead body between them. Cary Elwes, Danny Glover and Leigh Whannell star. **
