Dorchester boss Mark Morris says he could lose two strikers - or gain an extra one - in the next few days.
The new one could be AFC Bournemouth's Portuguese winger Diogo Andrade who scored the winner when Weymouth Reserves lost 1-0 to the Cherries in a friendly last week.
He will be in the shop window at the Avenue Stadium on Wednesday when the Magpies senior squad, who have not played for ten days, face Sean O'Driscoll's reserves in a hastily arranged friendly.
"Sean would like him to come down to us on loan and play a few games," said Morris today.
"He hasn't broken into their first team yet - but they rate him quite highly and he doesn't get much chance to play in matches because their reserves fixtures are a bit scratchy.
"I watched the game against Weymouth and was quite impressed so we will have another look at him on Wednesday."
Morris will be accompanying Matt Groves to a Dorset FA disciplinary hearing tonight as the Magpies top scorer looks to over-turn a 35-day ban imposed after his sending-off in a pre-season friendly against Bournemouth Poppies.
With Dorchester's other six-goal man Juan Ugarte reportedly impressing Wrexham manager Denis Smith during his trial with the Welsh Coca-Cola League One club, Dorchester's manager says the next few days could be a busy time for him.
"Things are a bit up in the air at the moment, but by the time we entertain Grays on Saturday the picture should be a lot clearer," he said.
Former Real Sociedad striker Ugarte hopes to win a full-time contract with Wrexham who want to play him in
a Pontin's League clash against
Oldham Athletic on Wednesday afternoon if they can get international clearance.
"He has done well in training and the next step is to see how he gets on in a real match," said Smith.
"Right from his first session with us it was obvious that he can play the game, now we just need to know at how
high a standard he is capable of operating."
