ALIEN VS PREDATOR (15): See review.

ALFIE (15): See review.

THE PRINCESS DIARIES 2 - ROYAL ENGAGEMENT (U): See review.

FIVE CHILDREN AND IT (U): See review.

SHARK TALE (U): A fast-talking little fish (voiced by Will Smith) gets into hot water when a tall story gets him tangled up with a formidable family of great white sharks.

WHITE CHICKS (12A): Crass, contrived and achingly familiar - but this tale of two black FBI agents (Shawn and Marlon Wayans) dressing as a pair of blonde society airheads is often uproariously funny.

MAN ON FIRE (18): Denzel Washington is brilliant as a burnt-out former CIA assassin who finds bodyguard work in Mexico City, and grows to love young charge, Pina (Dakota Fanning). When the unthinkable happens, he takes bitter, brutal, revenge.

BRIDE & PREJUDICE (12A): Bend It Like Beckham director Gurinder Chadha transplants the classic tale of marriages and manners to modern-day India, England and America, punctuated by spectacular dance sequences.

RESIDENT EVIL: APOCALYPSE (15): Partially defrosted from cryogenic stasis, Milla Jovovich finds a deadly virus unleashed, and her city sealed off. There'll be no escape without fighting a lot of zombies. Masses of action.

SAW (18): Two men awake to find themselves prisoners of serial killer 'Jigsaw', one told to kill the other if he wants to see his family again. 'Jigsaw' has lots of devilish fun with his victims, and Saw shows similarly inventive menace.

WIMBLEDON (12A): Likeable rom com featuring dithering British tennis star (Paul Bettany) whose game finds fresh zest after he gets together with American bad girl (Kirsten Dunst). Notting Hill with racquets, essentially, with strong performances.

BOO ZINO AND THE SNURKS (U): A fairy-tale adventure set in the mystical world of Gaya, where a small community battles against the encroaching forces of evil. Patrick Stewart, Emily Watson, Glenn Wrage and Kate Robbins provide some of the voices for this dubbed English language version.

CINEWORLD MONDAY CLASSIC: BIG FISH (PG): Tim Burton's unashamedly nostalgic father-son tribute starring Albert Finney and Ewan MacGregor. Magical.

CINEWORLD WEDNESDAY SPECIAL: INFERNAL AFFAIRS II (15): Slick and atmospheric tale of a Triad boss who aims for supremacy in Hong Kong of the 1990s. But one of the enemies he set out to kill still lives and there is a police mole in his inner circle, so it won't take long for things to start unravelling.

CINEWORLD MOVIES FOR JUNIORS (SATURDAY, 10AM):

SPIDER-MAN 2 (PG): The webbed wonder swings back into action, this time against the multi-armed Doc Ock. Classy sequel.

AROUND THE WORLD IN 80 DAYS (PG): Steve Coogan stars in the re-make of the David Niven classic. Good, frantic fun.

THE HAUNTED MANSION (PG): Kids seem to love this sub-standard Eddie Murphy offering. Good special effects, though.
