BROCKENHURST suffered a cup catastrophe as their FA Vase hopes went up in smoke with an abject defeat to Kent side Thamesmead.
After their giant-killing exploits in the FA Cup this season, Badgers would have been hopeful of an extended stay in the Vase.
But they were dumped unceremoniously out at the first round stage thanks to a Dean Burns double and a Jason Clews strike.
Brock opened brightly but were pegged back after eight minutes when Burns side-footed home a cross from the left.
The visitors then ripped through the home defence right on half-time for Clews to make it two.
And Burns completed the victory with his second on the break on 67 minutes.
Brock: Brunnschweiler, Bryan (Cox 64), Woodward, G Kemp, Hillyer, White, N Kemp (Marks 74), Drew (Grace 62), Lovell, Winsall, Midgely. Unused subs: Morris, Potter.
